One of the great joys of these retreats are the local chefs who create exquisite meals for the group. Most days these catered meals are served mid afternoon in keeping with the traditional 'comida,' the largest meal of the day pre seista. All stores close between 2-5 to accommodate this sacred family time.
Breakfasts are self-directed from a pantry and fridge full of yogurts, milks, fruit, nuts and cereals, coffees and teas.
Charcuterie is served around 6.
Evening light meals are on your own in the vairious bars and local restaurants.

Planned hikes and visits to the local historic sites vary with each group, yet ample.
There are hikes to Roman roads, pre-historic structures, caves and cave art. Ranging in difficulty from the meander along the Senda del Oso, to day long mountain summits with views of the ocean.
Guided tours of pre-Romanesque churches, and the Parque de la Pre-historia .

Tucked along Spain’s wild north coast, Asturias is the “secret” many travelers are searching for. Green hills roll down to rocky coves and beaches, with world‑class surf and dramatic cliffs made for climbing, in fact Teverga has over 1000 developed climbs. Villages still move at a traditional pace, rich with local food and cider, festivals, and everyday rituals. Known as the birthplace of Spain, Asturias was never conquered by the Moors, and its distinct Celtic roots still resound in the hills with bagpipes, accordions, and ancient songs.
